In version 4.3.2/3.3.2 a fix was made to the main ClientAPI js file (dnn.js) that allowed for greater compatibility with other javascript frameworks (namely prototype).  Unfortunately, this fix causes a major bug with the FireFox browser and all DNN WebControls.  I am recommending applying this patch to any site you have updated to 4.3.2/3.3.2 to repair this problem.  Once you download the file, extract the contents into your [dotnetnuke]\js folder (it will ask to overwrite a single file - dnn.js).  To test that it worked, simply open up your file manager using FireFox.  You should now see the tree correctly.

Re: FireFox Patch for WebControls

The project downloads is currently having a permission issue out of my control. I am waiting for someone with more rights to fix it. In the meantime you can manually fix the issue by reviewing this thread.

Re: FireFox Patch for WebControls

This patch didn't fix it for me in FF or IE. I still can't see the sub folders in filemanager any other ideas?

Re: FireFox Patch for WebControls

rmerritt,
Considering the patch was for FireFox only, as there have been no reported issues with IE, I would assume that if IE was not working for you, this patch would not help. It appears you have another issue. Is there any way you can get me a URL to your site to look at to try and determine the issue?

This patch corrected the issue for me. Thanks!

Re: FireFox Patch for WebControls

I've noticed that the File Manager tree doesn't expand correctly in Firefox if there are more than about 20 folders. The tree expands, but the container reamins the same height and the folders at the bottom are obstructed.
I've tested it on DNN 4.5.5 and previous versions.
Any patches available?

The forums are the best place to post this stuff. I believe that someone already posted on that issue, and offered a fix.
