This bug showed the Event Log Grid with 0 of 1 pages when the event log was cleared.  To rectify this the grid is now made invisible when the log is cleared.  The image below is from DNN 4.4.1 when the log has been cleared.

Now in DNN 4.5.0 you can see the image makes more sense.

Re: DNN-5144: Log viewer - Page 0 of 1

Looks like the "log viewer" has been renamed to "event viewer" which is good step as well.

Looking at the pictures any reason why the icons has changed from a magnifying glass to a yellow exclamation mark? Is this intentional?

Ah if we have renamed the "log viewer" to "event viewer", the button at the bottom, "edit log configurations" should really need to be renamed + all the pages under this (why not just call this button "settings"?).

If this hasn't happened already the "log type" column will need to be renamed "event type". Also "Delete selected exceptions"/clear log would need to be renamed accordingly.

All those strings are in the resx files so we'll have to update them I reckon.

Is there any reason why the log viewer icon changes to a yellow exclamation mark after being cleared? Thanks
