DotNetNuke version 4.8.2 has been made available today on the main download page. It contains a fix for a problem with multiple ScriptManagers (DNN-6862: AJAX: "Random" PageLoadException Multiple controls with the same ID 'ScriptManager' ) and tree other security fixes of varying degrees of complexity, please read the associated security bulletins:

These changes harden security of DotNetNuke framework, therefore anyone should consider to upgrade. This shall be the most stable and secure version of DotNetNuke 4, now we are heading to dive into DNN 5 development, which will be subject of future posts. :-))
Besides, there are updated module versions included: Text/HTML 4.8.1, Reports 5.0.0, Announcements 4.0.1, Feedback 4.0.3 und iFrame 4.3.0

PS: German Language Packs are available for download from the German DotNetNuke User Group Site (www.dnn-usergroup.de).

Can you make the updated modules available on the downloads page for ease of access. I know the Text/HTML one isn't there.

All included modules will be provided for separate download, unfortunately, due to organisational reasons, this takes some time.

Thank you Sebastian, the fix you mention first (Multiple controls with the same ID 'ScriptManager') was really causing headaches. This is a worth upgrading fix for any DNN installation using v4.7.0 and up.

Alexjandro, as cathal and I stated before in the forums, the first release has been announced to be published in Q1/2008 (though we might need to extend the quarter a bit) with some of the new features, while others will be included in subsequent releases following in 2008.
