GuessMenu.gif

I may not have a cool prize to offer like some core team members for guess the photo, but I think you may have fun trying to guess what menu is actually being rendered in this screen shot.  Hint:  Its not Solpart.  Simply add a comment with your guess.

I guess I could throw in the complete suite of DotNetNuke WebControls to the winner when they are released. :)

Re: Guess the Menu

I'm hoping it's your brand spanking new DNNMenu written from scratch for DNN with all the learning from SolPart but without the bloat...

Re: Guess the Menu

Just a guess...Telerik r.a.d. menu?

Re: Guess the Menu

Great guesses, but neither of them are correct. Another Hint: Like solpart and DNNMenu this one is also free.

skmMenu

Re: Guess the Menu

Not skmMenu either... Another Hint: This menu would not have been as easy to implement if it were not for the hard work put out by another core team member with the initials C.N.

Re: Guess the Menu

I know the answer - bot that would be cheating - but hears a hint - think "2.0"

Re: Guess the Menu

Would the be the Menu that comes with ASP.NET 2.0???

Re: Guess the Menu

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner (pspeth). Last weekend I decided to play with Charles Nurse's ASP.NET 2.0 implementation of DNN, and since I added my navigation provider, adding support for any control becomes quite simple. I must admit that I had no knowledge of this menu and found some of its settings bizarre. For example, in order to assign a hover class to the menu it requires that the HEAD tag be a server control (runat=server). Whereas, other classes could be assigned without this requirement.

I could have posted a screenshot of the DNNMenu a couple weeks back, but figured that webcontrols.dotnetnuke.com would be even better.

Thanks for playing. pspeth will be receiving the entire DNN control suite when its released (along with everyone else :))
