As much as everyone, I've been expecting Gallery to go into Beta, if only because it means we are close to a release after all this time. Well, it's time to say we finally have the 4.3.0 Beta package ready to be posted. It will take a little while before it's at www.dotnetnuke.com. So if you are as impatient as our Team, you can cruise to download your copy from: www.dnnmediagallery.com

WARNING: Do not use the Beta in Production sites. Upgrade from the Beta is not guaranteed

This Beta includes 59+ fixes and changes since the 3.0.12 version and it's been upgraded to work with .net 2.0.

Thanks to everyone who was involved with reaching this milestone!!!

Re: A Beta, finally!!!

Downloaded Beta and it made my day. Really like the configuration including the popup viewer. Is flash going to be part of the finished product?

Re: A Beta, finally!!!

@Roy: Flash is an undecided feature. We have issues with the XHTML compat.

Re: A Beta, finally!!!

Can't wait!!!! How much longer do we have to wait to get it here? Installing the gallery 4.3.0 beta on a DNN 4.08.04 install gives this warning and aborts. This should work right?

Install aborted - The module being installed is not compatible with your host application version ( an upgrade is required )

Re: A Beta, finally!!!

@mejojo: Should work. If you need help, please use the Gallery forum.

Re: A Beta, finally!!!

@aursong. There was a problem with the manifest in that Beta. If you use 4.8.4 to test, you can install gallery without any trouble. In any case we are preparing the submission of gallery 4.3.0 to the Release Tracker.
