On the evening of Wednesday, November 12th, all attendees registered for this year's DotNetNuke OpenForce '08 conference will be invited to an exciting new event - "OpenForce Social." This evening get-together, to be conveniently hosted on-site in one of the convention rooms of the Mandalay Bay, will provide an ideal forum for members of the DotNetNuke community to meet-up, network, and get acquainted with others. The OpenForce Social event is sponsored by Active Modules, Inc.

Full information regarding the "OpenForce Social" event can be accessed on the Media Releases page.

Re: Meet and Network at "OpenForce Social" - An Event Sponsored By Active Modules

The deadline for the prize giveaway taking place at this event has officially passed. Thank-you to all of the vendors in the community who have graciously donated items. In total, there will be 87 items available to win at "OpenForce Social." Not including the value of the five (5) subscriptions of MSDN Premium being offered up by DotNetNuke Corporation, the total worth of the prizes donated by the other 18 vendors will exceed $27,000.

This is definitely shaping up to be an awesome event. I don't think you will find better odds of winning anywhere else in Las Vegas.

So do we just have to be there in order to be eligible to win or are there forms or something that have to be filled out or a ticket at the door given out?

When attendees sign-in for the DevConnections/OpenForce event itself, they will get an information sheet about OpenForce Social (and which also contains the contest entry tickets.) You must be at the event prior to 9:30 PM to get these tickets into the draw "barrel" - and you'll also have to be there to claim your prize as well.

Hi Barry - While we would love to host everybody at the "OpenForce Social" event, unfortunately that is not a possibility, and only those registered in the OpenForce track at DevConnections will be able to attend.
