It's time once again for the annual asp.netPRO Readers Choice Awards. And this year, for the first time ever, you can cast a vote in support of DotNetNuke!
The asp.netPRO Readers Choice Award is one of the most respected and well recognized awards programs in the .NET industry. However, because it is open only to commercial products, DotNetNuke has never been able to participate. We've always encouraged you to support vendors who promote or create products for DNN, but we've never been able to ask directly for your support until now!

Re: Make DotNetNuke Your 2009 Readers Choice!
Hmmm... Why is "DotNetNuke Professional Edition" nominated? Hardly anyone is using it right now. I wouldn't even suggestion using CE. Just DotNetNuke (and maybe include "web application framework").

Re: Make DotNetNuke Your 2009 Readers Choice!
Hey Will ~ We're just nominees in this contest, Chief! As I indicated, we've never even been eligible before because we've always been strictly a "Community Edition"... If we'd been eligible previously, it's hard to think we could lose this award ever, given the overwhelmingly widespread use of DotNetNuke. As for the usage of Professional Edition, it's been launched for about 30 days now (with encouraging response)... how about a little time to develop some traction, eh? *grin*

@watzabatza
I'll try this again... asp.netPRO defines the eligibility for their award and only commercial software is eligible. We appreciate that DotNetNuke Professional Edition was nominated. I am sure that many readers will vote for software in some of these categories that they don't own, but like nonetheless. We hope that folks who appreciate the 0,000's of hours of effort that continue to be poured into the Community Edition they enjoy will consider casting a vote for Professional Edition. Thanks!

Followed the link - now that's one lousy made website if I ever sow one. They should be ashamed.

Re: Make DotNetNuke Your 2009 Readers Choice!
Agreed. The Asp.netPRO looks more like a link farm than a real site. But casted my voice for DNN anyway. Sounds like their voting results are important to DNN.
