DotNetNuke finished in the top Developer spot based on community voting and I am happy to announce that we received the following email today from Microsoft Canada:

"Congratulations!  The online voting phase for Microsoft Canada’s Ignite IT Awards 2009 has closed and your submission has been selected as ONE of FIVE Developer finalists!

Our panel of seven expert judges will review the submissions of the five finalists from April 1st, 2009 to April 14th, 2009.  A grand prize winner will be selected by our judging panel on April 15th, 2009 and will be notified by phone (or e-mail)."

I want to thank everyone who voted for the project over the past month - especially those DNN folks on Twitter who were instrumental in helping us maintain the top spot on a daily basis.

We will keep our fingers crossed in regards to the judges final decisions...
