Packt Publishing has recently opened up nominations for its 2009 Open Source CMS Award and they’re giving  away 3 iPod Touch’s at random to folks who submit nominations.  So here's a cool chance to support DotNetNuke and treat yourself at the same time!

You can submit your nomination for DotNetNuke now in two categories:

• Overall Award (The overall category considers every Open Source CMS, regardless of platform.)
• Best Other CMS (Packt recognizes two platform categories, PHP and “Other”.  This category includes all non-PHP nominees, including all .Net nominees like DotNetNuke)

Packt has added another really interesting category that I also encourage you to submit an entry for…

• Open Source CMS MVP (Individual contributors to Open Source CMS)

Yep, you can cast a vote for an individual who has contributed to the development or running of DotNetNuke as well!  We think this is a marvelous addition to Packt’s award program and look forward to seeing the results.

Once nominations have finished, the top 5 entries in each category will be up for final voting, so we’ll be asking for your actual vote again at that time.  But if you’re a DotNetNuke fan… please take a moment now to submit your nomination for DotNetNuke… and maybe win an iPod!  Good luck!
