Today is the first day of the MIX11 conference in Las Vegas.  And to help celebrate the Open Source Fest this evening, we're proud to launch a completely redesigned version of the DotNetNuke Extensions Forge!

The Forge is DotNetNuke's premier destination for Open Source extensions to the DotNetNuke platform.  Users will now be able to search for extensions by type, keyword or tag using a convenient tag cloud.  And they'll find valuable additional information including reviews, ratings, screenshots and DotNetNuke versions supported!

DotNetNuke has always been a great place for developers to get noticed.  And now more than ever, the Forge is celebrating the contribution of community developers to it's success!  New releases are featured by default with links to Project Coordinator profiles, and coordinators can update their team membership to share community recognition points!  Community recognition is calculated daily and users are featured on our home page and in community areas of www.dotnetnuke.com.

If you're an open source developer and want people to see and appreciate your work... consider Mix'in it up with DotNetNuke!  You can get your work in front of hundreds of thousands of production website owners and join a very vibrant and enthusiastic community!

Our thanks go out to our friends at Codeplex for providing developers access to world-class infrastructure for managing open source projects.  And also to our Forge team for there support in building of the Extensions Forge, in particular Chris Paterra for his extraordinary effort and Cuong Dang, for his styling assistance!
