Last year our Charlotte based DotNetNuke user group (QCDUG) hosted the Charlotte Day of DotNetNuke right in the heart of Center-City Charlotte. Our event was the first DotNetNuke Conference held in the Carolinas and we had a blast putting it on. We had so much fun that we’re hosting it again this year except this time we’re stepping things up a notch and making it a 2-day event.

Southern Fried DNN is being held on April 12-13, 2013 in Charlotte, NC and will be a Day of DNN event with a Southern twist ya’ll! It will be a great event for the DotNetNuke Community and for those wanting to learn more about the platform. Regardless of whether you’re looking to learn more about design, administration, development, or simply understanding what DotNetNuke is, there will be something at the event for you. The event will feature sessions and presentation by some of the top DotNetNuke developers/Designers/Admins/Hosts, DotNetNuke MVPs, Microsoft MVPs, and those really passionate about the platform.

Day 1 will consist of community led training for those looking to learn more about all facets of DotNetNuke. The training will be oriented for entry level topics across 4 tracks and is not suited for DotNetNuke veterans. If you’re seeking more in-depth training beyond the entry-level topics see the training section here on DotNetNuke.com. More information and details about the Southern Fried DNN Training sessions can be found on the training pages on the Southern Fried DNN website. Please note that training is free to all students.

Day 2 is formatted like the typical Day of DNN style event. This means there will be a keynote followed by multiple sessions occurring every hour, a provided lunch, more sessions, and then a DNN After Dark social event.  It’s going to be a lot of fun!

Fried Chicken. BBQ. Sweet Tea. DotNetNuke = A winning combination

Event at a glance:

Southern Fried DNN will provide a great opportunity to learn, connect, engage, and network with prominent members in the DotNetNuke Community and beyond. Last year the energy, buzz, and passion at the event made it a very special and memorable one… this year we’re expecting that plus more.  The city of Charlotte is so excited about Southern Fried DNN that even the Mayor of Charlotte cut a video welcoming everyone to the conference.

Everything is better fried. We hope to see you in Charlotte in April!

Regards,

Clint
