KnockoutJS is taking the ASP.Net world by storm. DotNetNuke 6.2 will include several core features which rely heavily on KnockoutJS. In Part 1 and Part 2 of my Introduction to KnockoutJS series I discussed some of the basics of bindings which are at the heart of KnockoutJS. Later this week, I’ll continue my series on KnockoutJS. In the meantime I wanted to highlight a great learning opportunity for those who are interested in learning how to use KnockoutJS with DotNetNuke. Given its usage in DotNetNuke 6.2 it should come as no surprise that KnockoutJS will be prominently featured at the Charlotte Day of DotNetNuke on June 2nd.

![CDoDNN_FB3[4] CDoDNN_FB3[4]](http://www.willstrohl.com/Portals/1/LiveBlog/1142/CDoDNN_FB3.jpg) Man… What a year. Really. A lot of things have happened, and it’s already 1/4 of the way over. The best part is that we have a brand spanking new release of DotNetNuke that features social features for all editions of DNN in the 6.2 release. That release is right around the corner, and DNN Corp folks have been busy blogging about 6.2 features quite regularly. But wait, there’s more! That’s right… This is my elevator pitch, or boardwalk pitch. You choose. Just don’t call me Billy Mays or Vince Shlomi. Go ahead, look them up. One was great but passed away, and the other. Well, let’s just not go there.

It is unfortunate that the long-awaited Day Of DotNetNuke event in Florida got cancelled today. Will Strohl, creator of the event, officially published a note about the news for this year earlier today. However, don’t get too bummed out just yet because you can still have a chance to attend this awesome Day Of DotNetNuke in the Midwest area.

On May, 28th 2010 the first conference „of the European Day OF DotNetNuke” took place in Paris. For me this was the first international DotNetNuke meeting, according I was very excited to meet the other core team members, with whom I had been communicating before online only. As a further hurdle, I was intimidated by the language barrier, because I still fight with my English with time since school has passed decades. In Paris, however, I became aware that I am not the only one with this situation ;)
A highlight...
