On all my tests (Different sites) the viewstate in memory disabled the ability to use any button with a postback behavior.

even It was impossible for me to remove the setting from the host settings without going to my database

So, I tested now again with FTB and it was the same. I tested other modules than the editor.....the same.

I tried to delete a module. I was unable to do it until I removed that setting.

Also, I tested today with a site in the localhost... I enabled all the settings that you reported. I also used FCKeditor........ All works fine on all pages and all edition is also working good.

What kind of server is the site you have been testing located on? W2K, W3K... or XP?

Are you able to test a copy of your site in a XP machine?
