I've made three attempts to install DNN 4.9 and use the active driectory setting but it won't take.  I get an error about a paramter value being null.

On the fourth try I unchecked the box for AD and it all worked perfect.

I also noticed that the checkbox for the AD option had some text about install it said something like '(install' then the rest of the line was covered by the next checkbox.  I have no idea what '(Install' meant.

So at this point, after spending several hours on forums and blogs, the Active Directory for DNN seems to be bugged.  The main references I did find all pointed to version 4.8 as being bugged.  Well it looks like the 4.9 version is too.

If anyone has a fix for this please let me know.  This install is for an Intranet and we have complete control over Active Directory so I'd really like to use it.

Has anyone found a fix?

Hi,

Using: DNN 4.9, XP, IE7.

I dunno if I am getting the same erro, but have problem installing Active Directory Authentication !

1- If I choose Custom install during the install and select Active directory and cardspace ... after couple of forms I get an exception

and the installation doesn't go through.

2- I If I choose Typical I am ok. but when I try to install the active directory provider ActiveDirectory_01.00.04_install.zip

I get the package license form I check Acept License and click Next >> then an error icons appears in the buttom left corner of IE.

[Line 59

Char: 14

"Error: FCKeditorAPI is undefined"

...]

I would like to use this as my Intranet page, but my boss wants AD as part of the installation.  I would like to add my voice for a fix here.  Or which version of DotNetNuke AD integration works?

Hi,

I tried to install the AD module on the DNN 5.0 RC2 but still did not work.

This time when the AD module is selected during the installation and Next is clicked nothing happens (no errors or anything just nothing happens the page just refreshes)

Hope this will be fixed soon.
