Ernst,
How can I change the skin of the events detail and description page? See, I want to be able to show ads in the events description page. For example, when users click on a listing, I want the description page to contain ads. Theonly way I may be able to do that now is to include the ad code or image/flash in the WYSIWYG editor. But I want also to be able to include skyscrapers on side panes. Is this a trivial task or is it tedious?

Regards,

Paul

In the current version (4.0.2), the Detail display is defined in the EventDetails.ascx file, which can be changed, as long as the original fields are still there.

The theme is defined by a .css file, stored in a subfolder Themes *each subfolder = theme name) in de DesktopModules\Events folder. You can change the existing .css or add another subfolder in the Themes folder for a .css with your own design.

For your information: the next version (4.1.0) will have a templating possibility for the detail display and will proobably also have a theme link possibility to link the Events instance to your own .css file in the standard portal folder structure.

When is 4.1.0 ready? Hard to tell, w're all volunteers, but I expect a first beta (with a strong advise not to use in it in a production site) soon.
