Actually guys, I have a better idea,
why dont follow up the great schema marketing that have been done by iphone and android apps.
Should from beginning release one product only and charge for $4.95 per upgrade/download.
You can imagine if 500k copies have been downloaded, thats about 2.5 million have been made for each download. The only drawbacks is a license key has to be applied on each download. thats mean, every new domain must have a license for it.

So will the DNN can be still open source?
Yes for sure, the DNN can still run as open source but partly of the DNN core codes (that are mostly no need to touch/modify) can be compiled and decrypted and the license methodology can be applied in here.

At last, I would say great works and efforts for DNN Corp, they deserve to put a tag price for their exclusive works (enterprise and prof)
