Hi

I have just downloaded and installed DNN 5.1.0. I did I typical default installation. Everything went smoothly until was directed to the main page of my new site. Then if I click login or home the following error pops up. I have done a number of installations with version 4 and did not have this problem.

Any ideas?

there seems to be an issue with the url rewriter, did you try to restart the app pool?

I've got the same error, on two different installations on different hardware.  Anyone else do a clean install?

There seems to be a situation, where Human friendly URLs cause issues, please be more specific about your configuration.

Specifically, I did a clean install (new DB, new IIS website), browsed to the site and followed the install wizard to connect to my DB.  The DB was installed without error.  Upon redirection to the site, the default page comes up, but clicking on any link (login, register, etc) give a 404 error.  Same result on two different machines (one with IIS 6/Windows 2003 x86, one with IIS 7/Windows 2008 64 bit).  DB server is on a separate box running SQL 2008.

R,

TPM
