 Hey Greg,

I don't know if this has been resolved with DotNetNuke.com, but last I heard, they removed it from a webfarm configuration because they were having problems with the DotNetNuke Professional caching provider.

The most recent PowerGrid that we deployed was designed to handle over 100,000 concurrent connections users (a user is 2-5 connections)  and is being used by one of Fortune's Global 500.  We're working with their legal team to get a PR approved so hopefully I'll be able to tell you more about that customer in the next couple weeks.

Sorry.  I had a type above.  That is 100,000 concurrent _users_ (a user is typically 2-5 concurrent connections).

DNN.com with 2000 simultaneous visitors running on a single box with the page load speeds I'm seeing now???  That would be very nice news.

It would also be ultra nice if DNN would put some kind of information up on this site showing examples of what kind of loads and speeds are possible with different server configurations.  Yes, I know there would be some people who don't understand how complex DNN is who would dig on that information but it would be ultra useful to those building DNN sites to understand the possibilities, requirements, and limitations of that dream site with 14 different "killer apps" installed before they start building it.

Even just a forum where community members could share stats would suffice.

 Hi Greg,

We had thought about putting that up ourselves we are always asked "How many sites will fit on a server?"  The problem with that is each site is different and has different usage and load scenarios and each customer has different performance expectations. For example, we sell a server that we typically recommend for about 20 sites - however, I've seen customers who cram 250 sites onto that server - it doesn't run very good, but it runs good enough for their customers.

Also, if you didn't see us in the news, you might want to check out:
