I have 4.8.1 running fine on my Vista development machine.   However, I'm having some fun getting this working on my hosted server.  I followed their directions (discountasp.com) for installation - but their instructions were probably for WS2005.

Windows Server 2008.   IIS7.

Thanks for any and all!

Hi Peter,

I'm getting exactly the same problem and am yet to find a solution, how did you go?

Thanks.

That error will go away if you select the web site in IIS 7, go to the Authentication icon and enable the Windows Authentication setting.

Hmm.. I need more information.

I have exactly the same problem (Vista Ultimate, IIS7, SQL Express, and I also followed the video tutorial)

Double clicking the Authentication icon displays only one form of authentication, e.g. "Anonymous Authentication"  which is Enabled.  Selecting that (highlighted) --> right mouse -> Edit, displays a radio button dialog box with only two choices, Specific User (selected and set to IUSR) or Application Pool identity).

What needs to be done here?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Don Lowrey
