I haven't been able to recreate this but I've seen others that have had the same problem. WHen installing and it gets to the install providers page uncheck the AD Provider. If you're planning on using the Active Directory provider then install it by itself later.

I received a very similar error at the same point in my 4.09 installation. I selected the "Custom" installation option and everything was fine until after the skins install page, when I got this error:

Now I can't access the DNN site or do anything via the install pages. Any input on how to recover from this?

I, too, am getting this exact error message. It is a show stopper in regards to continuing with my installation. Short of dumping the whole system and reloading, what can I do to rectify this error?

THANKS in Advance!!!

Disregard my last message. I had to take drastic measures. Delete my whole installation, and reinstall not selecting the AD module. Only after the install was a success, you need to update the FCKeditor before trying to install the AD system. all is well now except for the fact that DNN has but 1 skin.
