I have installed 2 instances of DNN on my server ,1 on port 80 and one on port 82.

My installation on port 80 works fine also when i connect on port 82 I get the correct default page.

The problem i am having is when i click on login on the 2cnd install(port82), I get redirected to the installation on port 80, confused i am.

Anyone any ideas ?

thanks in advance

Hi mc,

I'm just guessing here, but:  If you are on your port 82 installation, and you click on the login link, I'm pretty sure that the link is passing you on to the login page, but because it does not include the specific port number, you reach your port 80 installation instead, as that is the default port.

If you want two installations running on the same machine, I would suggest installing your DNN as Virtual Directories, and giving them different names, as opposed to trying to differentiate them with port numbers.
