Has anyone seen this error and know how to correct it:

A critical error has occurred.
Multiple controls with the same ID 'ctr' were found. FindControl requires that controls have unique IDs.

Moving and re-installing an existing DNN site. DB was upgraded to SQL server Express 2005.

Anybody have any ideas on this???? The site comes up with all the pages, menus, and modules, but none of the modules have anything in them. How did I get "multiple controls with the same ID 'ctr'"? What is "ctr"? Can I fix this in the database somewhere? Forgot to mention - it also says, "An error has occurred.
Unhandled error loading module."

Michael,

I am also getting this error.  I am migrating my portals from DNN3 to DNN4 and got his error while manually creating a new portal.  I deleted and recreated my portal using the template I exported, but no luck yet.  Let me know if you find an answer and I will do the same.

Hi Michael,

I know this error message though it happend to me during the development of my own modules. Each module is a composition of ASP.NET controls. Each control should have its unique ID. It seems that some of your controls will get the common wrong id 'ctr'.

I don't know what happened to you, please feed me with some additional information.

Does this happen to all of your pages?
Can you add a new page?
Can you add a text/html module to the new page and setup its content?

Michael,

I found my problem.  It was a problem with the Skin I used.  I made a few changes to the Skin and that caused the problem.  I went into the database and changed the entry in tabke Skins for my portal to a different Skin and the error went away.
