DNN 04.09.00 with all currrent supplied modules.

I can't seem to access a child portal... It creates it...

In domainname.com/content/portalname and places a "default.aspx" file therein... but then it goes to an error page that displays the DNN Logo and ...

"An unhandled error has occurred."... It never goes into the Event Log so I can't see what the error is.

Anybody got any ideas?

if the folder with default page is created correctly, what about the entry in the portals list in host?

What happens, if you try to acess the new child portal from your browser?

I think I was taking too many steps at once. I was using my hosting provider's scripts to add a subdomain link from portalname.domain.com to domain.com/content/portalname. This spoiled the directory where the defaul page was located for some reason. Even after removing the subdomain the error remained.

Thanks...

I'm still working on getting subdomains to work correctly. If I add make portalname.domain.com point to domain.com/content and add portalname.domain.com as an alias to the Portal... it only jumps to my parent portal... rather than the child.
