I need some help.  I was adding a category to the new user registration page.  It was supposed to be a drop down menu for new registrered users, two options in the menu.  Some how it didn’t work right and now, since I mistakenly made it required to login in, I can’t get in.  even under my host account.  Is there a back door, or a way to change this from the code?

Thanks,

Dan

There is a script called OpenSesame to do this.  I needed it yesterday or the day before.

Either go the "Chat About It" forum and look in there or do a search for OpenSesame.

I don't know how to help you more because I'm not good at using this forum.

In that chat about it section there were a lot of people with the same problem.  Download opensesame, unzip, upload

to your root and then go to it in your browser and you are back in.

You can modify the fields entry in the ProfilePropertyDefinition table.

Simply update the table to set Required = 0 for the PropertyName that is equal to your added property.  You can then login and edit the property configuration.

Looks like we have a new way to lock ourselves out.

OpenSesame does not handle this one.

Yeah and the sad thing with this one is that there is no safe way to create a universal solution for the lockout....
