Will,

please be aware, that since DNN ~4.5.0, the install package autoinstalls Text/HTML and Links module only, all others can be installed easily from Module Definitions and Text/HTML contains an important security fix. I would also vote to drop the upgrade package, but there are regions of the world, where download size still is an issue and people are very happy to get a compact package.

Cheers from Germany,

Thanks for the clarification, Sebastian.  That helps out a lot.

Hi All, I have successfully upgraded 2 sites on shared hosted environments (test and production), as well as localhost using the 4.8 install kit. Only issue is with the Repository module (v3.1.13), as per a thread in its forum. All other modules that I have tested seem OK.
