Hi,

I've got a server with one DNN installation. Under this installations i run several websites.

For statistics i've got awStats. Only i get the stats for all websites and not for each site.

Does anyone knows if its possible to get in awStats statistics for each website? Or does anyone knows a module of software which can do this?

Thanks already for the information.

I run WebLog Expert on our servers.  (We had WebTrends but it was too involved for our needs.)

I created a simple ASP page that allowed for running of logs on demand so that I didn't have to configure each individual site for logging.  However, with WLE, it's very easy to manually run log analysis.

No matter which application you're using, though, you'll need the Host Header information to be able to distinguish one DNN portal from another.

Nick,

You should be able to place the domain name in the awStats.conf file under "SiteDomain", but also make entries under "HostAliases" that include the domain name, www.domain and any others to include.   Create a seperate .conf file for each domain to run them separately, though they each read the same IIS log.   I used to do this for many sites, but today I only have a few left on awstats.

Alternatively, SmarterStats from smartertools.com does this very well for multiple domains on one DNN install.

Mikes point regarding host headers is most likely the reason awstats separation works for me.   All of my sites are "parent" DNN sites, and I use host headers in IIS (no virtual directories).

I personally just use Google Analytics, it works great for my purposes.
