Replace the favicon.ico file in the root directory of your installation.  Google for a plethora of free online {jpg, gif, png} ->ico converters.

Hope this helps!

dnn has support for a favicon per portal so if you upload a favicon.ico to the root of your portal folder it'll be used when pages within that portal are loaded i.e. portals/0 etc.

For Some Reason

I have tried this with intermittant success. is ther a restriction on the type of .ico file?

The images display correctly in windows, but not always in DNN.

Any Ideas?
