Hi all.

I have the same problem, but only with Internet Explorer: the favicon.ico does not show!

Mozilla Firefox has no problem.

In the <head> code, there is correct favicon.ico link: <link rel="SHORTCUT ICON" href="/Portals/5/favicon.ico" />

Could it be that IE does not like the href? Maybe the hole domain name should be there? (Example: <link rel="SHORTCUT ICON" href="http://njhvidberg.dk/Portals/5/favicon.ico" />)

Happy Easter

IE is caching favicons, and the icon cache tends to become too small. AFAIR there is a registry setting to increase the size and an option to clear it.

Okay, didnt know that. But the original favicon.ico (dnn logo) has a filesize of 15k, and the one ive created is only 3k, so cashing can not be the problem? Niels-Jørgen Hvidberg http:\\njhvidberg.dk http:\\newcomtech.dk
