I have been using DNN since version 4.1 and I have never had to disable a "Single Portal" ALONE. I have been asked to do this by one of my clients today because they could get sued by the FCC if the don't like quick (their issue not mine, but I am trying to help of course!). I don't want to take down all my sites for this one site. Surely, this has got to be included in the DNN framework. If not, "WOW!"

It's one of those you don't need it till you need it type things, but very important to a website when it comes to risk/legal. Anybody know of a checkbox or simple way to take down a parent portal within a DNN installation?

Not sure what you mean to disable a portal. You could delete a portal. Also, if you do not want to delete, and make it inaccessible to the Internet,  just make sure there is no valid FQDN/IP to the portal in the portal aliases.

Please vote for DNN Site of the Year!
