Folks,

Need some help.  For whatever reason, and I don't know why, region/county in my user profiles don't seem to be working anymore.  The default behavior, pick the country get a list for region.  Now I can pick a country no list for region and I can't save/update the user record when there is data enter in either field.

I've looked and looked and I don't see anything out of place.

I looked in the event log and saw this error:

InnerException: Text property cannot be set. String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.

FileName:

FileColumnNumber: 0

when did this behaviour start? have a look into Lists item in Host menu and make sure, all countries and regions are still listed.

Hi, I'm also now seriously embarest by this error.

It also manifest on my Country / Region fields, BUT THIS IS NOT THE SOURCE.

You can remove country and region, and make it text fields. The problem still occur:

How to replicate:

  1. Set your site to any language except US (something where dd is before MM)
  2. Make that language the only language in your site
  3. Disable language detection.
  4. Make sure superuser and admin is all in this language of yours.
  5. Try to edit Another users profile
  6. Even trying to reset the password, produce this error.

And here is some more facts about this issue:

  1. When user is logged in as himslef, it work
  2. if you login asn admin or host, and goto Admin > user accounts, and edit the user, then the problem occur
  3. Host, Admin and User,  has the same PropertyValue in their profile for there locale / language

It happens in 06.01.04 and 06.01.05
