Hello!,

i have made a website using Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 Express , its all working well and i have a website up and running.

i have only one problem,

when i try to change a skin in the skin manager , it is impossible because i cannot see the ' pencil'  icon and the ' upload skin'  link.

has this got something to do with the package i downloaded? does it have limited functionality ? i also tried to make a demo website on www.dotnetnuke.com .. and the pencil is also not visible here , like described in the FAQ

what am i doing wrong ?

Make sure you are logged in as a host user, unless the host user granted you the right to upload skins...

Do you have a custom container? If you haven't placed Actionbutton:1, and Actionbutton:2 in the container then the upload skin and upload container will not show up.

Let me know if that works for you,

I know this has happened to me so it is a possible scenerio. If you try selecting some text and pull and drag down, sometimes the colour of your text is the same colour as your background. The text can be there but you just don't know it.
