  1. DNN 3.3.7 requires ASP.Net 1.1. Upgrade to DNN 4.8.4, if your are switching to ASP 2.0.
  2. some old modules might require to get updated as well
  3. upgrade in steps via 4.4.1 to 4.8.4

Now I have few more questions.

1. How difficult that Moving the DNN version from 3.3.7 to 4.4.1 and from 4.4.1 to 4.4.7?

2. First can I move DNN version to 4.4.1 from 3.3.7 with dot net 1.1? Later can I convert the project from 1.1 to .net 2.0?

Thanks

Murali

Hi Murali,

regarding upgrade, you can follow these instructions. (note: future upgrade will not require to adjust web.config any longer).

You need to switch web site to .Net 2.0 to get DNN 4.4.1 running.

Hey Sebastian,

If you are running .NET 1.1 and DNN 3.3.7, which one do you need to upgrade first the DNN or the .NET ?

Thanks !
David
