chiranjeevi.o,

One solution to this would be to create an .aspx page to host your user control. See Microsoft ASP.NET QuickStarts Tutorial: Web Forms User Controls for more information.

You could then link to the .aspx page directly and set the link to open in a new window using the Target property of the HyperLInk control. See ASP.NET HyperLink Control at www.w3schools.com for more information.

Hope that helps,

Hi chiranjeevi.o,

finally, did you create your page with the popup? I have the same problem, and I need more details about how to create a popup in dnn.

hey

you can use the tutorial link here: http://lakhlaniprashant.blogspot.com/2008/12/creating-modal-popup-in-html-4-using.html

if you look at the code given there, that is a row pure javascript-html-css popup and in the popup window you can easily place your ascx control.

hope this helps.

Is there a way to do this so that the aspx can be packaged and distributed within the module? I have used the work around mentioned above that suggests creating an aspx in a seperate directory from the module (a virtual directory not included in the module or dnn solution).

I have seen numerous threads on other sites mentioning using navigateurl but nothing clearly spells out how to do this.

To clarify the request; I am working on a module for DNN 3.2.2. The module watches the tabs visited if the condition is met a small modal popup, a form.aspx file that is a basic questionaire opens. But when the form.aspx opens the page displayed is the same as the parent window NOT the form.aspx. So how do I force this popup to display my form.aspx?
