I have to support an old DNN 2 website (Oh how I wish I didn't but there it is) and I need to make a change that allows a user to log in from a specific page without having to redirect them to the login control. The user will provide his username and password, I just need to know what API call to use to pass those values to so I can log them in automatically. I'm pretty good with DNN 4 but 2 is a different beast. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this?

I've never used DNN 2 - Would you be able to place the login module on that page, so they could just enter their information there? I know you can do this in 3 and 4, though, with lack of 2 experience, I don't know if it's possible.
