I'm adding a new module/page and I was searching for where 'YourCompany' was defined for the tables and other db objects. I could not find it but I would like to set it to a value if that's possible versus changing it in all of the scripts?

Can anyone provide some answers to this question.

thanks

kg

Hey:

I ran into this as well.  Those references come from the templates.  I found mine here:

My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual Web Developer\VisualBasic

They are in a zip file (Module_VB.zip), so my guess is you would extract the files, do a search and replace on "YourCompany", zip them back up and put them back...after you had backed up the originals just in case.

I have not done this and have no idea if it works, but please let me know if it does.

Cheers.

I had a chance to try the above this morning and it seems to have worked fine.  Some of the files are read-only, so you have remove that flag, then do a global Find and Replace, zip all the files back up and you should be all set.

Cheers.

Hi!

I tried to edit the Template.

But when i replace the modified .zip container with the original, the Template is exists no longer.

When I replace it again with the original container it works.

Why?

Greetings
