Hello,

Has anyone had good/Bad experiences with 3Essentials?  I've been looking at their standard hosting plan for a a pretty basic "Personal/Family" style portal ( shouldn't be a ton of traffic ).

I've been burned by a few low cost providers in the past and was hoping anyone offer an opion on them.

Best Regards

Do you use Oracle?  Then try GoldFish.Net

I just barely switched over to them from hosting my website at home.  I actually still host a few DNN sites at home but my "main" site has been moved to 3Essentials.  The site on 3E is www.seeleyware.com; From what I understand Mitchel Sellers hosts there and several other people do as well (see this thread: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/118/threadid/178228/scope/posts/Default.aspx)  I will be switching a customer over to them soon as well.

One thing to consider is that by default the permissions there won't allow you to install it.  you need to submit a ticket and ask them to grant modify permissions to your WPD user (they have this all in a knowledgebase).

Good luck and enjoy!

As mentioned above, I host with then and personally recommend them for many of my clients and other individuals that ask me.

Their support is the best of ANY company that I have used.  I just did a new DNN install on my account and they did the one configuration item that I needed in under 15 minutes after submitting my support request.

THey also support full trust environment which is really nice.
