I was curious if there is a tool on the market that will convert the dynamic content of a DNN site into statically linked HTML pages.  Microsoft Content Management Server has a product named Site Stager that transforms the dynamic content into static html pages, is there anything available to accomplish this in DNN?

Thanks.

None that I've seen, and I kind of doubt there would be one in a similar manner as Microsoft's CM Server.  That's just an opinion from knowing the diffrences in the architecture, there could be something that spidered the site to create a static demo version.

You can use a website ripper tools, it basically follows all the links and downloads HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other media content. Although you will have to manually cleanup the HTML code since it will contain the viewsate variables and other extra code.

Do you have any experience with a particular tool that you could possibly recommend?

Thanks.

Are you trying to migrate out of DNN to a static site? OR produce static pages which will be refreshed from DNN periodically as a way to improve performance?

If the latter, are you familiar with Snapsis PageBlaster? If the former, then dunno ...
