I am using the IdentitySwitcher 2.0 beta on DNN 4.9.4. I am attempting to upgrade to .NET 3.5 and the IS module is throwing this error:

Error: Identity Switcher is currently unavailable.

Does it need to have a 3.5 compiled version or is it something in my web.config?

Thanks,
Rodney

Just to confirm -this is no longer an issue when you update your web.config with the relevant bits to pass requests for the old web.extensions to the 3.5 version.
