I just stumbled across an image map plug in that works pretty well.

More info here http://martinezdelizarrondo.com/imagemaps/.

Simply follow the instructions, except when altering the fckconfig.js files, alter the one in Fck/Custom, not the one in Fck root.

Also, the toolbarset to add the imagemap icon to is DNNDefault.

i am having trouble getting the icon to appear on the editor.  we are running 4.8.0.  i installed imgmap0.4 as per instructs on http://martinezdelizarrondo.com/fckplugins/imgmap/docs/install.html.

all seemed to go well except that i have fckconfig.js and fckconfigsecure.js in fck/custom as well as a fckconfig.js in fck/fckeditor.

i ended up doing steps 2 and 3 to all three files but i am still not seeing the button.

thanks

Mike - as mentione above, "...the toolbarset to add the imagemap icon to is DNNDefault" - that's the one that is typically used..
