Hi

I am in new to Dnn.  I am going through a tutorial that requires the contacts module.  I am using version 4.8.1 .  I logged in as host and tried to install the contacts module which does not seem to be available in this version.  I downloaded the contacts project and tried to bring it into my dnn solution.  Is there an installation procedure out there?

thanks

Jan

download the source version of the module, then run your DNN web site, log in using the Host account and on Host->Module Definitions, install the module (the source version that you downloaded).

Now exit DNN and you should see the Contacts module and the source code in your DesktopModules folder.

Hi Jan, welcome to DNN.

Contacts module has been sunsetted due to limitation. I suggest to use UserDefinedTable instead.
