 Hi,

Have you ever got this error when trying to edit the map module:

A critical error has occurred.

Method not found: 'Void DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.Exceptions.ProcessModuleLoadException(System.String, DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase, System.Exception, Boolean)'.

Does anyone know how to solve it?

Thank you.

I forget to say that I am using DotNetNuke 5.00.00.

Thanks.

Figured out that too, I wonder why they even put it into install in the first place. RCs are out there for 2 months and no update nor word, I think this module is dead, you should consider writing your own :-)

I just hit this too when moving a site to 5.0.

So has anyone written a new map module? Willing to share? It seems like the map module should be removed from the base in 5.0 if it has been abandoned. If no one else has one, I will write a new one based on the version that worked in 4.5. I would be glad to share when I get it running.

I recompiled the source for DNN 5.0.0 (with no changes made to the code in any way). Looks like there is a compatibility issue, which was resolved by mere recompilation. I have uploaded the recompiled DotNetNuke.Modules.Map.dll at rapidshare.

Anyone interested can download it, and replace it either in bin directory (for existing installs) or in the Module instllation package (for fresh installs) to get the map module working on DNN.
