Thanks SO much for posting that!

It worked...

It has been downloaded more than 10 times so I cannot download it.

Could you upload it one more time or make it available in a different site please?

Thanks,

Javier.

I recompiled the source for DNN 5.0.0 (with no changes made to the code in any way). Looks like there is a compatibility issue, which was resolved by mere recompilation. I have uploaded the recompiled DotNetNuke.Modules.Map.dll at rapidshare.

Anyone interested can download it, and replace it either in bin directory (for existing installs) or in the Module instllation package (for fresh installs) to get the map module working on DNN.

Hi,

I made the same (no errors with recompilation) but don't work, have the error:

InnerException: Method not found: 'Void DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.Exceptions.ProcessModuleLoadException(System.String, DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase, System.Exception, Boolean)'.

Message: DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Method not found: 'Void DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.Exceptions.ProcessModuleLoadException(System.String, DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase, System.Exception, Boolean)'. ---> System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Void DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.Exceptions.ProcessModuleLoadException(System.String, DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase, System.Exception, Boolean)'. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Map.Controls.MapControlPanel.LoadCurrentControlSet() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Map.Controls.MapControlPanel.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Is possible you share, again, your Map DLL?

Thanks a lot,

DD

I found this thread shortly after I also discovered that recompiling the Map module for DNN 5 fixed this.  The recompiled DLLs can be download from http://www.aaronkjackson.com/2009/02/dotnetnuke-5-and-the-map-module-error/

To DNN forum module team, you should seriously consider fixing up the email notification problem for threads by the earliest. I did not received any notification for the re-upload request. This is hurting users ans forum usability.

OK, I have again uploaded the recomplied dll at:

http://rapidshare.com/files/198263401/DotNetNuke.Modules.Map.dll

This time I have logged-in to my rapidshare account to upload it. So it should not expire anytime soon.
