The idea is that when you meet the criteria of having 10+ members and had atleast 2 meetings you will be offered a "User Group" portal at DotNetNuke.  This package will have a standard skin using a "User Group" portal template.  You will also be offered an offical logo for your group.

OK... 23 members now and good turn outs at the meetings... could you elaborate on this: " a "User Group" portal at DotNetNuke.  This package will have a standard skin using a "User Group" portal template.  You will also be offered an offical logo for your group."

Is the user group portal, the user group module, or an actual portal?
Where does the official logo show up?  Do you mean the little icon on the world map?

Thanks,

Gifford

I started the "Brooklyn DNN Group"

How can I promote it effectively besides hoping 10 people from the Forums will find it and join?

Thank you,

Eug
