I would like to know where the documents that we upload from the front end are stored internally in DNN. I am trying to integrate a file transfer operation to the Documents Library folder internally. Are the files stored in the file system or in the sql server?

Thanks.

The files are stored in the folder you selected within the DNN file system.

Thanks for the reply. I was able to locate the folder under Documents Library where my uploaded documents are stored. But if I copy a document to this location, should I not see it from the front end as well. Are there db parameters involved in it? I am trying to place some files under the document management folder using an automated process and DNN doesnot recognize the files dropped into the folder by other means.

Thanks.

I am using the "Documents Library" module. I am trying to place file inside the folder, so that it can be recognized from the front end.

TIA.
