OK,
I have been asked so many times by some users in my department on this.  Is there any way to display all of the documents that are in a Document Module even if the user does not have rights to view it?  When we are wanting to do is let public users and users that are not in that secured role to be able to see what is available but when they click on the link have it just come up with the message that tells them they are not able to view the document.

Thanks
Rick

you will need to create a custom module (or tweak of this module) for this purpose.

Sebastian,
That sound like it is a little rough for the way to handle that.  Is there not a setting that can be adjusted to let each documents module pick weather or not to show all links.  I know the links them self now control the security so I don't see why the Module could not offer to show it.

Thanks
Rick

Rick,

sorry, but from demands I get, nearly all users want to show only items, a user has access to. But you might try to create a custom download module using User Defined Table, that will show all entries, but links will be missing for unaccessible downloads.
