Hi,

I have installed DNN 6 Beta (2300) OK. I have installed the resource package es-ES (of DNN 5.6.2) ok but when I select the Spanish language (flag) host and admin options are not displayed, from the top. If I select again the English language options are displayed.

I have uninstalled the package in Host> Extensions ok but now in the Languages page gives me back the following error:

Error: Language Management is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Languages.LanguageEnabler.languagesGrid_ItemCreated (Object sender, GridItemEventArgs e) at Telerik.Web.UI.GridItem.SetupItem (DataBind Boolean, Object dataItem, GridColumn [] columns, rows ControlCollection) at Telerik.Web.UI . I do not know if you have registered this issue in Gemini.

Kind Regards,
Toni.

Hi Toni,

This is a known issue and is already fixed post-beta (http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=16640&PROJID=2). The issue is in your language pack, Host and Admin work properly if they aren't localized. It is supposed to default to fallback language (English in most cases) but that isn't happening in Beta 1.

Please do post any other issues with Content Localization as we most likely will be able to fix before release. Better still would be to log them in Gemini our bug tracking system: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/

Thanks,

Jogi
