I just was upgraded by PowerDNN from DNN 5.6.3 to DNN 6.1.3 and have lost the ability to see the whole tool tip while hovering over an event. Part of view is hidden by the Events Module itself. It worked great with the previous version of DNN.

I have Events 5.1.4.
Is there something I need to do or is there a compatibilty issue with this version?

Thanks Much,
Gary

Hi Gary,

Just to test this, I tried installing Events 5.1.4 on DNN 6.1.2, and the tooltips won't display at all. I have seen this elsewhere, including on DNN.com, but never tracked it down. They have a 5.2 release on dnn.com, so I can't go back to check if it is a 5.1.x release problem.

In any case, in Events 5.2.0 we changed the tooltips to be displayed using RadTooltipManager. This is a much more reliable and configureable way of doing it, and is working fine as far as I know on DNN 6.1.3.

I would recommend updating to Events 5.2.2 which is the latest release.

Cheers
Roger
