Today if I made my post about SqlDataProvider issues in Events Module since 03.02.00 i have seen this post and downloadet the beta version 03.03.08 to check the SqlDataProviders.

I am not happy about it.  in the first providers 03.02.00 and 03.03.00 I found so many issues in the SqlDataProviders.  You can not make a statemant to dbo !!!!!!!  You must set the placeholder {databaseOwner} !  also some {objectQualifier} are missing.  So i can now understand why my system runs so instable.  Please think to the dnn users that have not dbo as DatabaseOwner !!!!!!!!!!!!

If you like, i will check and send you the SqlDataProviders.  But this will a hard work then, and needs any time.

Regards

Matthias

This project is open source. While we by now are used to a high quality work from the core team, we can hardly make demands.

When one finds an error, he or she should report it, and, if possible, suggest a solution. In your case, you should make those changes and send it in. Especially, since you need it yourself.

Hi,

I have checked the SqlDataProviders of version from 22.05.07.  The SqlDataProvider 03.01.00 still have missing {dtatabaseOwner}statements.  Also I think you make a update of all procedures so that this updates on existing installations.

Thanks

Matthias

Uploaded a new version of the 3.3.8 events module to my site this morning (www.avanced.net).  We found a minor issue in the List View and fixed several localization issues.  Also, made changes to the way cookies were being used.  This version has been re-submitted to the DNN Module Release program.
