Respected sir,

I am new in DNN development . My job is to Upgrade the DNN 2x to DNN 5 x ,
the upgrdation process is carried on , but when we are moveing from one dnn 2x to 3.0.4 or dnn 3.0.13 the custom modules are not working ,it genrate the exception "could not load type '....' from assembly " .plz help me .

DNN 3 has reorganized its namespaces, i.e. DNN 2 modules need to be modified for continuing to run. If it is a heavily customized site, I suggest considering a relaunch with a new DNN 5.6 site, making use of new core features and available 3rd party extensions as well as an up2date skin producing valid markup, and move over content - at least the part which is still valid.

Some one mistakenly tired to use WPI to upgrade our site from 5.5.0 to 5.5.1 the install failed.  I successfully upgraded us following Chris's method above and we ran great for a month.

After a forced server restart we have the following error:

Locally, the browser is in website.com/Install/InstallWizard.aspx

Thanks for any help, our site is completely down.
