Has anyone experienced any troubles with the HTML Telerik Editor? I am specifically seeing these problems with upgraded sites:
  1. When trying to edit a Text/HTML module, the Rich Text Editor does not display the text in either Design or HTML mode. I am only able to see the text by switching to the Basic Text Box mode. It's a DNN 4.9.4 to 5.5 migrated site.
  2. On a 5.3 to 5.5 upgrade, the Rich text Editor does not show 99% of the buttons.

TIA

Jan, I read that report before posting. Both issues were different.

I have resolved the first one. It was a CSS issue. I was using a reset.css that was too aggresive. It was removing the positioning of the TD where the text is rendered in the editor. The IFrame that inherits the position was shown out of place.

I have not solved the second one. I created the resx files.

Hi, I have similar problem.

I installed DNN 5.5.0 in which Telerik RadEditor is a default HTML editor (same as this one for add posts). It works fine in the beginnig. After some time, when I open insert picture or hyperlink dialog I see nothing. Actually some controls (image manager and hyperlink manager) are displayed but there's no text labels on them, and there is no Design / html buttons at bottom left. How could this be fixed?
Regards.

you need to install a separate language file for the Rad Editor - or use the free one from http://radeditor.codeplex.com
